Aussie Meat Pie

Ingredients
- 500g ground beef
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup beef stock
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 sheet shortcrust pastry
- 1 egg for egg wash
- Salt and pepper to taste

Brown ground beef in a pan, breaking it up as it cooks. Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.

Stir in tomato paste and flour, cooking for 1 minute.

Add beef stock and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 15 minutes until thickened. Season and let cool.

Line pie tins with shortcrust pastry. Fill with the cooled meat mixture.

Top with puff pastry, trim edges, and crimp to seal. Cut a small slit in the top.

Brush with egg wash and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden.
